Private Couples Mahjong Night at Grandpa’s Place
Please note: This is a private, invite-only event. Please do not book unless you received an invitation from the host (Blair).
Join us for a fun, social evening of Mahjong, food, drinks, and a little friendly competition at Grandpa’s Place.
We’ll kick things off from 5:30–6:30 PM with time to mingle, grab food and drinks, and settle in. Weather permitting, we’ll make the most of Grandpa’s outdoor space, patio doors, cornhole, and bar area. End of August is the perfect time to soak up a summer night before the tiles hit the table.
From 6:30–9:00 PM, The Social Tiles will lead a Mahjong lesson and guided game play. Since this group includes both brand-new players and advanced beginners, we’ll break things down in a way that keeps it fun, approachable, and engaging for everyone. We’re also extending our usual lesson format by an extra 30 minutes just for this group, giving everyone more time to learn, play, and get comfortable at the table.

$75 per person for brand-new players who will be learning Mahjong
$35 per person for players who already know how to play and are joining for open play
